About the Author

D. Eric Hurst is Associate Dean and Professor in the Department of Accounting at the Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. His research has been published in Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.

This book has all the knowledge you will need to understand the principles of accounting, the way financial statements are related to each other and analyze specific accounts to identify from an industry to a single company and to know what makes them tick and what make makes them create value. Double thumbs up for this book that helped me to clarify my doubts through my Master in Finance program.
