This book is just packed with a wealth of information that anyone with a low self-esteem or anyone who knows someone with low self-esteem needs to read. The book goes through everything you need to improve your situation right away.
Alan explores what self-esteem is exactly and the negative impact it has on your life. In addition, he covers how we view ourselves impacts how we view others. The big take away is that you need to move from whining about your current situation and start acting. That is the key to breaking out of this negative cycle. Definitely recommend this one!

Great publication that will help you to have a good self steem

A good self-esteem is very important for a good mental health. With a good self-steem our relationships become more pleasant, we are more confort with our self when interacting with others because you don't need the approval of other people. Also, a common mistake is that if we make mistakes and requieres a good self-steem to admit your faults and overcome this situations without feeling bad about it.
This book will help you to understand that beside your background or education, you need to overcome many mistakes, the guilt, competition, perfectionism, bad habits, looking up to others, etc.
This is a great book and will help you to have a good self-steem in order to became a happy and healthy person.

A practical definition and exploration on self esteem is illustrated on this book. Writer went into very specific analysis on deciphering what causes or triggers the aspects of self esteem within ourselves in the chapter "The Depth of Low Self Esteem". I was very thrilled to read about the part where it co-related competition as a root culprit of low self esteem. It went on to explain how competition is affecting our true ability to cultivate the best and making us only aware of the comparison of success in respect of others.
As I consider myself kind of a perfectionist, the book had surprises for me, I won't share the thought, but my review title tells a little.
